For our January
Giving, in support of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) and Beautify
Lunada Bay (BLB) Project, the LCD team helped lay mulch
around native plants on the first BLB pilot project site. No herbicides are
being used to eliminate weeds, on this environmentally sensitive area;
therefore, mulch is an important element in the process of naturally
eliminating and controlling weeds. We can't wait to see the plants come to life
and restore the natural beauty of our community.
